!!! Intro and fragpart/body are beautiful. The intro is short but still conveys what has to be conveyed. I love the transition were "Broken" is broken. Outro is the weakest part of your movie, particulary the size of the text. A bit smaller font and a bit more creativity would have made it a lot better! Fragpart had an amazing atmosphere - flow, sync, slowmos and the musicstyle perfectly collaborated here. Frags were pretty standard...Your next movie will not have this drawback. You used several frags that were really far below movielevel, but overall enjoyable of course! Colors are good and clean. I do not really like the playerbar, it was a little too boring in my opinion. Fragmessage is ok not too good not too bad, seems to be a little pixellated or its just a bad front. But those are irrelevant details not interrupting the flow and the n1c3n3ss of Broken. Overall 8/10 -1 for the fonts and -0.5 for the frags and -0.5 for the lack of creativity. QUALITY IS SUPERDUPER HIGH! RaVeStyLe |

This movie was very good considering that it was his first time making a quake movie. The flow of the editing with the music was outstanding. The only thing that bothered me were that some of the frags were below average.

This is not a Quake 3 movie but a Quake Live movie...this is not the place for Quake Live movies...
I am sorry but the game are similar but QUAKE 3 IS NOT QUAKE LIVE. kikoolol@clan arena frags and AFK kills....very big content... (If we look only at the editing of the movie, and the overall job, theis movie deserve a 7.2) |

This is my first look at the quality of game play to come out of Quake Live. I'm surprised to say that it plays just as good as the original. I tried playing it, but could never get far, as it kept lagging for me. I love that the game is not dead and people still play competitively in it. As for the videos, they still entertain, at least for those who appreciate this type of game.
There was no initial intro to the movie rather a brief moment for a few titles, a fade in from black to white, blurred vision to crystal clear. What I can say for the rest of the movie is that it is frag after frag, fast paced and nonstop til the end. The editing is clean with music leaving you entranced in the mood of the film. The credits were a bit contrasting to the rest of the movie, and wrapped the movie up pretty quick.
Here is a movie that proves that an 11 year old game can play better than their newer adaptation. It seems as though Quake 4 came and went, and Quake 3 still is around to shell out great movies. Here is to Toxic Designs for a great flick.
