The first thing I did after I watched this trailer was hit "replay". Mayhem edited this video to perfection. The announcer audio integration midway created one of the most remember-able "build ups" to the body of the trailer in Halo fragvids to date. And that precision of excellence was evident in the entire flow of the video. The VFX and CGI brought a different look that I hadn't see in Halo videos before. Never did I think someone could pair glowing color correction with a darker style, but Mayhem executed it perfectly to create his own unique song. It complemented the song's tone perfectly.

Dutchy provided very nice footage to the table, and I am really looking forward to what's in store to the final video. And I have a feeling that the final video's content may be even better, because trailer's generally don't harness the players' best clips, and Dutchy has a history of never bringing any frags less than greatness.

The only aspect this video falls short of excellence is in the quality. Although not bad by any means, the artifacting and clarity did not match the requirements I have for a 9/10 rating. It looked to me like an HPVR recording, which is among the better capturing devices for console recording, but not the best by any means.

Mayhem and Dutchy's chemistry proved to be the ultimate pair for this short creation, and has earned its spot as one of my favorite Halo trailers of all time.
