i'm honestly pretty much impressed. i really loved the concept,
which went very well with the original soundtrack. creativity at it's best. you seem to know what a moviemaker community is looking for: enjoyable frags, clean editing, very well synced and speeded scenes, great typography & quality. i didn't even notice the missing gunsounds to be honest. only the noise effect got a bit annoying here and there. very well done! Best New Producer - i guess it'll be Steamworks. |

Steamworks is on a run.
Here is another perfect example for the awesome producers they got in their rows. This movie has an excellent and unique style with perfect editing, fresh ideas and good frags. The colors are changing a lot, the theme with the computer system is not getting boring through the whole video. There was less importance set for the frags and more on the movie itself. I really love this theme and the atmosphere and I call this one of the best productions this year. Very nice, though it is short. |

This is what the CSS movie community needs, something new and creative and to quote
tweezy \"groundbreaking\". A sick intro that leads to the outstanding frags and new soundtrack, brilliantly synced all together. Bright and colourfull colour sets that suit the movie well, sharp and to the point editing, a great movie. Steamworks really are one to watch. |

From the start the soundtrack sets the creative tone for this film. The introduction although creative looked like a computer from the late 80s in comparison to rest of the film. The break style editing is synced extremely well to the soundtrack, however the soundtrack is also fairly repetitive. Being a player movie the content was limited, so there is a steady mix of good with the bad. I didn't really see anything however that brought out the 'holy shit' factor which so often separates the great frag films. The editing seems to be a bit much at times, and although the quality of the film was decent, I can't seem to get past the almost 'blurred' textures. Overall this is an above average film which has gotten a less than expected review from the community.
