not to bad Ive actually never seen this, I like the spartan modeling but it just seemed a little out of place at times. The ending was perfect though. Oh and the intro models were great. The sync was good... looking forward to the final

Definitely the best trailer ever when it came out. I remember when it first was released. A collaboration of the Halo 3 communities finest editors. I even saw the notes used to plan this, which were brilliant.
Great video with great clips by great people. In case no one knows, this was cancelled. |

perfect trailer could just need some darker colors on the ingame footage itself. Btw. the ingame footage seems quite laggy in the slowmotions you should record it with higher fps...

First of all, biBa, in Halo 3, you can't choose the FPS you capture in. It is set at 30 FPS. This is one of the many things that restricts Halo editing compared to PC games.
Anyways, absolutely loved this when it came out. Not feeling it as much anymore but its still a great trailer. Moczy is the shit, and a lil birdie told me that this is coming out.. |

I am not a huge fan of Halo montages but lately they have started to grow on me. This trailer is just epic and shows me what the Halo community had to offer in terms of editing.
I loved it, the music was perfect, frags seemed amazing and the syncing and all, pure gold. Can't wait for the final. |

I thought, when this came out, it was pretty good. But now that I'm more into editing, and I have a better knowledge of it, I view it as a pretty decent trailer. the gamepaly looked great, the editign was above average, and the music choice was acceptable. The Models in the beginning were great, but it felt like ti needed some serious texturing.

Well its sad knowing that this will not be coming out. This could have had the potential to take the whole H3F Movie Competition by surprise. The little display of gameplay we could see in this really is something special.
What really got me into this was the 3D parts it had, given Halo 3's limitations, the 3D was very well done and complimented the tone of the trailer. Everything from start to finish flowed so well together.
A trailer to a movie that will never come, but a trailer that will live with the H3 community for a long time as a step forward.
