Quake III continues to survive and be recognized as both a resilient and evolving game. With defrag mods, the release of Quake Live, and now another mod it is sure to continue to survive. This film is a promotion for Speedcapture, a quake III mod combining capture the flag and speed trials.

The overall production of the film was well done, showcasing gameplay and several runs. Do I feel this promo did the job, not exactly. The Q3 engine is quite old, and in order to really stay on par with today's technology it is almost necessary to process the in game content through filters to clean up, sharpen and showcase the footage. This was not really done here.

I will admit that after watching this promo I did do my research before writing this review. So in a promotional aspect, I know more now than I did before watching. In a video production aspect, there was a lot that could have been improved upon overall.
